![]() ![]() Kings will get x20, Emperors x30, etc etc. Since the base vassal limit is '1', a duke will always have a vassal limit of at least ~10 and since baronies do not count toward this #, this means a Duke can hold ~10 Count-tier vassals. So being a duke would give you ten times (x10) the base vassal limit a lowly Count has. So now we have something like this immediately below the code above: VASSAL_LIMIT_DUKE_MULT = 10.0, - Extra Vassal Limit from the ruler's rankĪs you can see from the name, these are multipliers. ![]() Who do not count towards the vassal limit. And since you cannot have vassals equal in rank to yourself, Counts are not given a rank multiplier because they can only have Baron vassals. Counts have a very low vassal limit due to not having a multiplier attached to their rank - baronies do not count towards your vassal limits by default, although there IS a line of code to modify this as well. If you simply change that 1.0 to 2.0, you'll double vassal limits for everyone, because IIRC your rank (only for Dukes and up!) is multiplied by the BASE_LIMIT and then adds diplomacy and crap to get a final number. Sorry for making this such a long post.įirst up is this: VASSAL_BASE_LIMIT = 1.0, - Base Vassal Limit Ok the vassal limit thing is a bit weird in how it works, at least compared to most of the other things in a. ![]()
