This same problem seems to reappear in other situations too, making this solution useless for touch screens. right after starting the script with an active Explorer window: The first touch-screen right click fails, the lift-off of the finger seems not to be detected. With touch-screen right clicks however the script is not working reliably enough. The script shown below enables all this for mouse clicks: A right click in an Explorer window displays an own menu, and right click can be used for drag operations. And: Drag operations generally can be done by a mouse right click too! However, if the finger is not lifted from the touch screen, a drag-and-drop operation can be performed! This is the way how drag operations are done generally on a touch screen. If after this time period the finger is lifted from the touch screen, the result is the same as after a mouse right clich, e.g. Adjust the Auto Right Click Time slider to set how many seconds of. On a touch screen a right click is done by touching the screen for a second or so. When the touch panel is touched, it works the same as clicking the left mouse. The workaround with to close the Windows context menu is not very elegant, but at least it works reliably enough. This can be implemented by a simple script shown below. The right-click invoked context menu (in an Explorer window) should be replaced by an own menu. I am definitely unable to find a workaround for the following problem: I know, there is an aversion to touch screen issues in the AHK community.
